No meeting Tuesday morning in lieu of Dinner at Parliament House Wednesday evening as guest of the Honorable Vincent Tarzia, Member for Hartley (our club rooms are situated in his electorate).
Vincent gave us a tour of both Houses (Assembly and Legislative Council). A committee was operational in the Legislative Council, but we had more freedom to roam in the House of Assembly.
Vincent gave us an abridged history lesson on our State Parliament, followed by a fine 3 course meal with choice of wines, and topped off with liqueurs. The term ‘small portions’ does not exist in Parliament House; what fantastic value for money.
