Club Assembly last Tuesday morning produced the following thoughts when members were asked to express their future vision for the club in no more than 3 words:
Enthusiastic, fun, innovation, vibrant, trust/friendly, community minded, active, dynamic, Magill Market, Reel Event, engaged locally, supportive, happy, productive, inclusive, diverse, creative, members dedicated to attendance, continue and improve youth initiative involvement.
Here are member thoughts on our Mission statement:
- ‘working to make the world shine’
- ‘a club with a SA profile’
- ‘being dedicated to being a friendly, welcoming community involved club, while being true to Rotary
- ideals’
- ‘the four-way test’
- ‘support the community while having fun’
Upcoming One Thousandth Meeting (17th Jan)
It was suggested that we have breakfast in Nightingale Park, whilst burying a new time capsule.
Mark T suggested raising $1,000 for a worthy cause to commemorate our One Thousandth Meeting.
David Dew: Honorary Member
It’s a mother and son double act in the kitchen now and David Dew has filled the breach left by the ill health of Gary. David is now an honorary member of Rotary Club of Magill Sunrise.
