Becoming a member of Magill Sunrise Rotary Club is the best way to gain exposure to full inclusion in Rotary’s programs and activities. You can volunteer on our fundraising projects, donate to Rotary programs, or even volunteer for overseas aid work.
Get in Touch
To get started, please contact us and let us know how you’d like to get involved. Our club has full membership, as well as a Friends of Rotary program for those who aren’t able to be involved in the club on a regular basis. We always welcome non-members and members of other clubs who would like to volunteer to help us out when you can.
Membership Benefits
Rotary is one of the largest volunteer organisations in the world and can help you build new friendships and business networks. Members have the opportunity to collaborate with teams to improve the lives of others both within your local community, and around the world.

The Cost
Sadly, few things in life are free and Rotary is like any other organisation needing to meet its administrative costs. Hence there’s a membership fee currently set at $220* per year for club membership, with significant discounts for partners, full time students and people under 25.
Most of our service projects are free of charge, but sometimes they are fundraisers like quiz nights, which may have entry costs. You do not have to join in every service project, just those that you can.
If you want to you can join us at meetings too where you can hear guest speakers and get to talk about what you want the club to do. Our breakfast meetings on the first and second Tuesday of every month for a very reasonable $20*. If evening is your thing, on the third Tuesday of every month we meet at the Tower Hotel where you choose your own meal at your own expense.
The charges outlined here ensure club operating costs are covered and that all funds raised through our activities go directly to the causes we support.
(* Note that the Club Board may vary these charges for members making an active contribution who are facing hardship and can’t afford this level of contribution.)
