In Rotary we are strictly apolitical and non-sectarian. Nonetheless, we do appreciate our local Member of Parliament Claire Clutterham MP participating in the recent Lift The Lid Walk for Mental Health - Adelaide and subsequently mentioning this amazing community project in her speech to Federal Parliament. This very successful project was done in collaboration with a number of our fellow Rotary Clubs to raise funds for Mental Health Research through Australian Rotary Health, who are the largest non-government funder of this type of research in the country. Just look at the attendance we had at out meeting this week! OK, well, maybe AI has a bit to do with this photo, but we're thinking our guest speaker Ian McDonald would approve given AI was the subject. He gave us all a great walk through the highs, lows and practical uses of AI, which was both enjoyable and highly informative. Thanks Ian.Ian is actually a passionate aviator running a great YouTube channel on that subject - feel free to check it out: www.youtube.com/@BigglesAviator/featured This week our good friends fromLions Club of Athelstone-Rostrevorrevor came along and joined us atTower HotelHotel for our relaxed evening get together. They're kindred spirits doing great things in our community too, so it was great to join with them. We greatly appreciate the Tower providing us use of their private room so we can have guest speakers, presentations and catch ups like this. Everyone is welcome to join us any time at one of our Service Projects or any meeting. Check our web site for details www.magillrotary.org.au/ ... See MoreSee Less
